WorldCast Systems Expands Ecreso FM AiO Series with New Power Additions and Software Enhancements
Worldcast Systems is excited to announce the expansion of its acclaimed Ecreso FM AiO Series with two powerful new products, along with a major software update. The new additions extend the AiO Series’ portfolio up to 2 kW, meeting the medium power needs of broadcasters with 1kW HR (high redundancy) and 2kW transmitters in a compact 3U form factor.
Designed to provide superior performance and reliability, the new Ecreso FM AiO Series transmitters feature dual hot-swappable power supply units (PSU), two fans, and two RF pallets. This redundancy ensures maximum on-air time, allowing the system to maintain operations even in the event of component failures.
"We are proud to extend the Ecreso FM AiO Series with these reliable, medium-power transmitters," said David Houzé, Ecreso Product Manager at Worldcas t Systems. "These enhancements are a testament to our commitment to delivering robust and efficient solutions that meet the evolving needs of broadcasters."
In addition to the hardware upgrades, Worldcast Systems is also releasing a new software version (v3.3.0) for the entire AiO Series range (100W-2kW). With this version, WorldCast Systems has focused on SFN applications with the integration of a built-in GPS receiver for internal clock references but also 10MHz and 1PPS outputs for peripheral equipment. The APT IP Decoder has also been updated to integrate APT SynchroStream technology, for audio content synchronization over the network. The APT IP decoder has also been enriched with a new backup mode, Hot Standby Mode, for automatic stream switching in case of connection loss, ensuring continuous broadcast.
Finally, the AiO Series now supports the latest SNMP v3 revision, enhancing security and management capabilities of FM transmitter fleet.
"With these enhancements, the AiO Series becomes the most advanced FM transmitter for SFN applications, offering unparalleled precision, reliability, and security".
