The METZ Connect right angled X-coded printed circuit board family impresses with its diverse application possibilities. Standard available in a versions that adapt wall thicknesses from 1-2.5 mm. Up on request you can go up to 4 mm and 5 mm, which gives you design flexibility. The integration in sheet metal as well as die casting is possible without any problems.
By using this angled M12 with a 9 pin through board soldering and extra mechanical strength on the board. In order to do justice to the different manufacturing processes on the market, they are also available in different dosage forms. As a pure circuit board insert that only becomes a connector with the housing of the application, or as a kit and completely assembled. The entire family is THR solderable in order to meet the highest demands here as well.
Well mounted this connector correspond with the DIN EN 61076-2-109 standard and can transmit data rates of up to 10 Gbit. This is achieved using length-compensated contacts. And together with the Metz Connect X plug assemblies it goes up to a IP67 protection in a mated condition.
In addition, the family is completely provided with a shield plate, which reduces or eliminates any RF-technical influence on components on the circuit board. This, too, can guarantee a trouble-free data flow and data quality.
Despite all the complexity that the component has internally, the design is very compact and requires an extremely small footprint.
