LiveU Enabled Cloud Production Architecture
Cloud deployments offer on-demand access to computing and networking resource with high performance, flexibility and low TCO for ad-hoc events.
LiveU encoders allow events, sports and productions organisations to reliably transmit video from a venue to a receiving server anywhere in the world, leveraging LiveU’s patented LRT protocol
Deploying LiveU servers as software in cloud providers; such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud amongst others, allows for streams to be delivered onwards from LiveU servers to 3rd Party applications and devices over a variety of protocols such as NDI, RTMP and soon SRT.
NDI will typically be used for cloud production tools such as VMix, GrassValley AMPP, Gallery Sienna, where latency is key. This will be deployed in a cloud environment that typically supports multicast between cloud instances.
RTMP will be for streaming into social media platforms or for simplified vision mixing with Grabyo, Kiswe or Cloudmix
