K&L Microwave LTE / WiFi Test Box - DRTA-00014
With the growing importance of wireless communication and the introduction of new technologies, the correct qualification and validation of signals is a very important task for semiconductor manufacturers. There are many standards out there that we are talking about large amounts of signals, each unique in its kind.
For engineers that work on the development of WiFi or Long Term Evolution, also known as LTE, MPG - K&L Microwave developed a complete testing solution for all LTE/WiFi signals in one box. This digitally-controlled filtering system can tune a bandpass filter anywhere between 700 MHz and 6.000 MHz with various bandwidths.
The 4G and 5G communication systems of today with carrier aggregation predominantly use LTE-signals that are modulated over several bandwidths, typically 5 MHz, 10 MHz, 15 MHz, 20 MHz and 40 MHz. Filtering is often required to reduce harmonics and improve dynamic range when testing the products and to replace the large number of fixed filters that are required, K&L built this state-of-the-art system. Depending on the required configuration, the DRTA-00014 can figure as a substitue for over 3.600 fixed filters.
This solution has software interfaces for automated testing corresponding to the two hardware interfaces (Ethernet and GPIB), as well as a convenient web-based user interface for devices such as smartphones, tablets and traditional computers. Have a look at the video for a glimpse of how it works.
All units are 'made to customer order' and can therefore be adjusted to the specific requirement of your project. Furthermore, if you do not need the whole range or that much functionality, K&L has a broad range of digitally-controlled filters that fit your demands.
