Brussels Palais de Congres opens in grandeur showcasing their Vista 5 and Vista 5 SR

Brussels has gained a venue for conferences, congresses, meetings and other events. Square Brussels has opened the doors to the 13.500 m2 of meeting rooms, exhibition space and a superb auditorium. The venue is in the very heart of the city giving breathtaking views over the Brussels skyline. It’s at only 300 meters from the Royal Palace and next to the Museum of Arts and the Royal Library. Square Brussels has a very elusive design and is perfectly integrated in the park with its planetrees. The old wall-paintings from world-masters have been restored and will strike the eyes from every visitor. Lighting, interiors, sound design and top-class audio and video equipment, all contribute to a warm, serene, inspiring and stimulating environment, where “minds can meet and ideas can flow”.

The large auditorium with its comfortable leather seats simply calls for using the best and most versatile mixing consoles available on the market today.
In the end, ease of use, multiple interfaces and scalability have been the factors on which Square has made its choice. “The Studer Vista 5 and Vista 5 SR with its Vistonics© interface are highly intuitive and very easy to use, which is perfect because during a live performance, the operator should be totally concerned with making the sound perfect as opposed to worrying about which button he is pressing."

SQUARE (http://www.square-brussels.com) purchased the Studer Vista 5 and the Vista 5SR consoles through Harman’s representative Heynen Belgium (www.heynen.com) and the project integrator Play (www.playbiz.be). It’s a great project for Heynen says Jos Jorissen, Managing Director who integrated different solutions proposed by Heynen, because Heynen also supplied all HD video encoding and video over IP distribution equipment for the digital signage.
